Athletics WA World Championships 2025

Recommended Posts

We live next to a small stadium here. A small one but with all the athletics Polanik infrastructure. Great place for athletics training. But kids from local schools  don’t want to go to athletics trainings. Almost noone does It . Everybody wants to play football , both boys and girls. Football pitch is occupied all the time. Different training groups, various age groups. But athletics items closed in the magazine all the time sadly.

so no bright future for athletics here in Poland im afraid

No, we had zero medals in Rome 1987 as well (and that was a really weak team then, a couple of '83 medallists past their prime and bunch of domestic champions). Two 4th places were the best result.

Yep. The very bottom of LA84-protest consequences era. Next year in Seoul 88 we had no athletics medal either . And no 4 th places. Only 1 point from W relay

luckily, Artur Partyka was about to show up

:NGR Nathaniel has said the reversal of Benjamin's DQ was fair, and he wasn't hindered by the hurdle and should not have been upgrade to bronze because of it. That should be the end of that (in terms of time to protest it already is, I assume, but also discussion-wise, since he is the only one who could have been affected by it).

I remember that in Poland in the '90s (Warsaw), we all boys played football- the school playground were terrible- concrete, but no one seemed to mind. I still have scars on my legs from that era because no one spared themselves back then. Nowadays, young people have better playground, but they prefer to stay home and surf the internet. It's the same in Poland and Italy.

But here at my place really a lot of kids play football. Lots of them. Everybody wants to be another Lewandowski .

A lot of girls started to train football recently as well . This is sth new. Few years ago it wasn’t like that .

And no concrete pitch anymore. They have beautiful grass pitches here

I would add a photo here but all my photos are too large and i don’t know how to do it. Sb explsained it to me before but i forgot it
