Aaaaand it's gone. 36 hours into the race, none of the three guys left finished loop 3 yet, so they're out of the chance for a finish. They have until 40 hours, which I believe is about 2 hours from now, to finish the lap and be credited with a Fun Run.

.

Ah yes Ramona, the place for records :d

Very curious, was this wind-aided at all and if so by a small or big amount?

well this one wasn't at Ramona this was in texas, all his other throws were from barely 62,high 62 ,to barely 63, and one over 65,i don't think the wind had a whole lot of impact here, also acording to a japanese competitor he was already in great shape in ramona this year[throwing 68 meters in training] in competition there he threw over 64.

I know I’m talking about his previous best :p

64m in Ramona in a comp this year? Well that’s not great for someone like him.

yeah, obviously that was wind aided,it didn't come during the world record meet tough,it happened later on.and as i said he was apparently in 68 meter form in training there, the wind there doesn't always help out.

traditional Race Walking meet in :SVK Dudnice

men's 35km

:CAN Evan Dunfee wins in World Record pace (2h21m40s) ahead of :GER Christopher Linke (2h24m40s, NR) and :MEX Josè Luis Doctor Horales ((2h24m41s, NR)

among the top 8, 1 WR, 5 NR and PBs in series (20 of the first 23 recorded a new PB, the remaining 3, SB)

given also that many Central/South Americans finished in the top positions, I just can't imagine how "strict" were the judges   :bones:

women's 35km

1. :ECU Paula Milena Torres (2h44m26s, NR)

2. :PER Kimberly Garcia Leon (2h45m59s)

3. :POL Katarzyna Zdzieblo (2h46m59s)
