This is why baseball is good for the Olympics. There are nations that will compete for medals in baseball that very rarely compete for medals in many other sports.  did not win a single medal at Paris 2024.

some of them already have the Italian passport, however all of them are eligible to get it, if required

should our NOC and federation want (which is a big "if"), we are always able to field a very competitive team, even better than this one on paper (we could call up pitchers like Gerrit Cole and Zac Gallen, for instance)
