African championship:

 Faroe Islands have a huge chance to qualify for the world championships after 36-26 win over  Lithuania

Uruguay's roster is out. They are training twice a week at Areteia, a private school in Ciudad de la Costa. They won't play any international warmup matches due to the minimal budget.

I'm impressed with Spain's women's team; their results in recent tournaments weren't good, but I imagine losing to the Faroe Islands wasn't part of their plan.

Just like our boys did this year, we also beat  for the first time in history in the women's competition.

 

I'll take this as revenge for the men's beach volleyball.

When did this sport become so predictable?

 

Well, there have always been some teams that stood out, but I don't remember there being as much technical difference as there is today between the European teams themselves.
