Could see them as a dark horse for a good finish at the Olympics, maybe even a medal.

5th end now, Einarson leads Lawes 2-0 after a steal in 4. Very confusing call Lawes had said “Is it there” 4 times, had an easy draw to tie it up but decided to go for the raise takeout with barely any of the rock showing (they needed 2/3rds) for the deuce and wrecked on the guard.

Lawes have been 20-2 since Trials! Undefeated here as well! Surprising given how badly this team has performed this Olympic quad :yikes:

93% for Einarson, you can always count on her to show up during a Scotties :d

Lawes in the high 60s, I’d have to assume her takeout percentage is inflated by her first in the 4th with that double takeout (a much needed one, one of the only shots made all end long for them) but she really needs to step up (and so does her team) if they want to have a chance.

Einarson has a fairly routine double the double for the blank, but one of Lawes’ rocks just hangs on to the back of the 12-foot for the steal

Lawes takes a 3-2 lead into the 8th!

Einarson with a brilliant shot, angle raise against four for the single to send the game to the extra end :hyper:

That was special :hyper:

At this point if Lawes wins this match and qualifies for Worlds, you’d be crazy to have Peterman as the 5th and replace her with Walker, the level she’s played at this week is outstanding

    • Yes this is correct, it’s very confusing though
    • You're right!   I forgot to factor that in to my calculations.
