Whilst we can bemoan our misfortune on the near misses front and lack of golds , the French are going through a very similar thing

Would have been interesting if we had been half a second quicker on the first leg whether Femke could have caught us then.

I hadn’t realised that the expectation of UK Sport was that a third of medals won would be Gold.

Well they way down on that. A third of 63 is 21.
