Another 25 from Hales would guarantee him at least a shoot off for the final.

 

Depending on how the others shoot, a 24 might be okay but obviously not guaranteed. 23 or below almost certainly knocks him out.

Think at this point 25 is high highly likely to get him straight in. 24 would be shoot off territory and 23 I expect he would miss out.

Trying to temper expectations given they were not a fancied crew coming into the event. Both races went the same way; they got out hard and then got overhauled in a sprint. Will be tough to get the better of NZ and Romania; but behind them the bronze battle between the other 4 crews looks wide open.
