16 yo Robert Badea wins gold with new CR at 400 IM after also winning 200 IM yesterday.

 

A new star is on the rise

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

:ITA increase their medal tally to 7 gold medals (and 7 silver) thanks to Daniele Momoni (men's 100m Fly) and Lorenzo Ballarati (men's 50m Free) and comfortably keep the lead in the medal table

 

6 more titles were awarded Today:

 

:TUR Doruk Yogurtcuoglu won the men's 200m Breaststroke

:GER Lena Ludwig won the women's 200m Breaststroke

:IRL John Short won the men's 200m Backstroke

:ESP Estella Llum Tonrath Nollgen won the women's 200m Backstroke

:ROU Robert-Andrei Badea won the men's 400m IM

and :GBR won the 4*100m Mixed Medley Relay edging out :ITA :facepalm:

:ITA continue their domination of the medal table before the final day of the championships, now it's 9 gold / 7 silver and 1 bronze medals

15 YEAR OLD TAJUS JUŠKA IS OUT OF THIS WORLD,WINS THE 100 METER FREESTYLE OUT FROM LANE 1 :hyper:. Pb is now 48.74 down from 49.55 in the semifinals AND THIS IS THE NEW NATIONAL LITHUANIAN RECORD IN THIS EVENT :wub:.

This Turkish flood should be better looked at...to me it resembles very much the Chinese one

No it's not, Lithuanian record is 48.04 by Danas Rapšys

This is so great! The breaststroke has always been our weakest style and now that we have someone promising for the first time in many years, it's a really good sign. Hopefully our medley relay teams should be a lot better in 2028 now that we finally found a good breaststroke swimmer. But of course he needs to continue improving :fingers:

      It’s honestly baffling how bad she was in 2018. Just absolutely lost her head. Real shame too because she is so gifted. I do hope Li Jianrou sends her a Christmas card every year tho, she was absolutely gifted a gold medal by Christie in 2014.
