So what will they do in that case. Give it to three other Russians or three other nations now?

It's a bit of a surprise that they are cutting them down everywhere and they left the canoe alone, even though there were a lot of doubts about the interpretation of the word "team- crew" and Styhl's rich doping past. As well as Korovashkov`s EPO But the question is still open (on wednesday russian canoe officials said that they do not know the fate of their quotas). It is only the decision at ICF level (to keep C2 and reallocate C1). As we could see in wrestling that it means nothing for the IOC. By now the IOC did not say a word on Canoe sprint, Judo and Swimming. So it can go one way or another.

Since they were banned from the World Championships in Doha in February, the topic of swimming has not been discussed in their context.

And some of them may be lost too. Yefimova tried to qualify via the Championship of Bahamas but failed. WA answered to russian request that they will not give her a wildcard. But! Some russian swimmer Somov got neutral status at the last moment and is going to compete in Paris. I have never seen his name before. But he lives in the USA so he is not connected to russia and may be allowed to go to the Olympics.

Jefimova, the one from Russia (because she is even younger from Estonia and also swims breaststroke), is probably already old and has no chance of winning medals. It's strange that she's still thinking about something. Edited Thursday at 11:09 PM by copravolley
