Can’t wait for Lorne Wigginton in the men’s 400m individual medley, fingers crossed that he can get the OQT :cheer::fingers:

Made the final! Another chance to get the OQT. He's been a bit off his PB's this meet so I'm not optimistic but you never know.

Both medley relays qualified for the final with the women in first.

Men's lineup will probably stay the same.

Women will probably be Wilm->Angus->Savard->Ruck?

Could have a shot at gold

So I'm looking at the relay results and I'm seeing that Pickrem split 1:06.14 on the breaststroke leg!? :yikes:

Great to see Pickrem back at her best. Yeah, with a time like that she’d pretty much be a lock for our breaststroke leg on the women’s medley relay. If she can replicate it at Paris, or even better it, we’d have a shot at silver and maybe even gold if Masse can return to form. Of course I wouldn’t count out the rapidly improving athletes Angus, Branton, and LePage, they’ve all been on a tear lately, but that’s Olympic final and even medal contender worthy.

He made the final but hasn’t achieved the time ?

    • Tentoglou won the men's long jump with 8.22. He only had two valid jumps today.   Another U20NR came in the women's shot put from Maria Rafailidou. She had 16.53 earlier this week and now got 16.59. She's second in the world for U20 this year    So of course Karalis was the big star of our nationals this year, more than Tentoglou, but we also had a lot of teenagers show good signs for the future (Antonatou, Alivizatos, Mitropoulou, Iakovaki, Rafailidou etc).   Antonatou and Alivizatos are both from Kefalonia island. Antonatou's brother is a shot putter who is 19 yo and had a new PB yesterday of 17.92 in the NCAA. I don't remember us ever having any strong athletes from Kefalonia in any sport aside from the late Anna Pollatou who won an Olympic bronze in rhythmic gymnastics. What are they feeding these kids on this island (it only has about 35.000 residents)?! Very impressive.
