Decent little weekend,

Beth Shriever wins european BMX title.
There's a couple of rockets in the juniors side, Freia Challis won gold, im guessing she might be too young for LA cycle though
Kye white continues to be middle of the pack. Ross Cullen had a nasty crash which is a shame because he probably could have won it.

Tom Pidcock rolls up to a MTB and dominates it, perhaps more encouraging is charlie aldridge finishing 3rd
Evie Richards remains competitive over the short track (2nd), but allways seems to be in the lower parts of the top 10 in XCO

I've noticed that this has been a good cycling year in general for teamGB . Hopefully it only gets better next season too.

I suspect matthew brennan will be  one to keep a eye on for this olympic cycle

It is just annoying the British domestic scene was wiped out by COVID and shows no sign of recovery.

Evie Richards wins silver at the european mtb championahips, although a big gap between 1st and 2nd

Pidcock continues to annoy the MTB tryhards by winning the mens race and taking the jersey off tv for the next year 🤣

Aldridge again impresses coming 2nd for a 1-2

Bethany Shriever is World Champion once again.

Still a bit disappointing that we only have the one rider in the Women's Elite class - hopefully that will change by the time the qualifying window for LA opens as we currently have 3 riders in the under-23. (Emily Hutt looked in good form in her opening heat and qualified for the Quarter final but was DNS. Betsy Bax went out in the Quarter final whilst Sienna Harvey exited in the Semi final.

On the men's side, Kye Whyte was our only rider in the Elite class but he couldn't progress beyond the Quarter final.

shame ross cullen is out injured on the mens side, he looked good throughout the season, kye just cant seem to get it going anymore

beths semi final was arguabley more impressive because she usually just rolls around after a start like that, to eat up almost the entire field was a good watch

massive win for charlie aldridge in the short track mountain biking, his first career win at this level, he usually starts to die after halfway point so this is a massive progression

hes started to look good before the summer break, so hopefully he shows more progression on sunday in the olympic distance
