4th  288 (World spot)

5th  284 (Pan-Am spot)

6th  281 (European spot)

 

If  doesn't win the gold medal, they could only get 276 points and  would be ahead in Top5 and spot guaranteed.

the only fights left are  vs  for the Asian spot ( have a 24-point margin over , with max discard 23 points for  and 21 for ) and  vs  for the European spot ( have a 35-point margin over , max discard 25 pts for  and 32 for ...basically, the only chance for  is to win the last OQT and hope  don't end up in 2nd place)

 

actually,  might even catch  for the 4th spot overall, but it wouldn't change anything: both teams will qualify and moreover, they will face each other in the quarterfinal match of the Olympic Tournament

no, if  win, we need to be 2nd (if we're only 3rd, we would be tied with  and they would get the edge because of that last win)
