Interesting fact: if USA and Italy will be in a same half or quarter, Ukraine 'll get the spot. So it means that there is a scenario in which we can receive quota before competition even starts

You are already qualified!

:UKR is currently Top4 and the only teams that can overtake you are :USA:ITA.

:ITA can only overtake you with a gold medal. If that happens, :USA could only overtake you with a silver medal.

In that case:

4th :ITA 288 (World spot)

5th :USA 284 (Pan-Am spot)

6th :UKR 281 (European spot)

If :ITA doesn't win the gold medal, they could only get 276 points and :UKR would be ahead in Top5 and spot guaranteed.

in the men's Sabre, :HUN:USA:KOR:FRA:EGY and :CAN are mathematically qualified to the Olympic Games

the only fights left are :IRI vs :JPN for the Asian spot (:IRI have a 24-point margin over :JPN, with max discard 23 points for :IRI and 21 for :JPN) and :ITA vs :GER for the European spot (:ITA have a 35-point margin over :GER, max discard 25 pts for :GER and 32 for :ITA...basically, the only chance for :GER is to win the last OQT and hope :ITA don't end up in 2nd place)

actually, :ITA might even catch :FRA for the 4th spot overall, but it wouldn't change anything: both teams will qualify and moreover, they will face each other in the quarterfinal match of the Olympic Tournament

In men's sabre Italy will qualify with 3rd place or in case that Germany will not win last WC

no, if :GER win, we need to be 2nd (if we're only 3rd, we would be tied with :GER and they would get the edge because of that last win)

It is no way ((((
(if some team from top-8 will not miss world cup at all)
