Un disastro senza precedenti, e quanti errori al servizio...

Dopo la sconfitta contro  Cuba  3-1 (25-22; 21-25; 27-25; 29-27), oggi (Domenica ore 15.00) sfida finale contro il Brasile.

 

L'Italia dovrà battere i padroni di casa e sarà necessario farlo con un risultato migliore rispetto a quello con cui Cuba sconfiggerà verosimilmente l’Iran, in caso di successo delle due squadre con lo stesso risultato si andrà a vedere il quoziente punti.

 

In caso di fallimento in terra sudamericana, l’Italia dovrà aggrapparsi al ranking FIVB che al termine della fase preliminare della Nations League determinerà le ultime cinque squadre ammesse ai Giochi.

Sconfitta contro il Brasile 3-2 (25-23; 23-25; 15-25; 25-17; 15-11)

 

Ora la qualificazione Olimpica passerà dai ripescaggi per il ranking, le migliori 4 non ancora qualificate (+1 per l'Africa); il ranking valido sarà quello al termine della fase preliminare della Nations League 2024.

Attualmente l'italia occupa il terzo posto del World ranking (prima delle nazioni non qualificate)
