I am overwhelmingly convinced that if Shinhama had been in a different pair, he would not have seen. The Japanese ran on the man in the final straight and was fantastic by winning the sprint,

yes, the Tokyo and Paris grand slam tournaments, which are held on 2 days only, always have this problem...   both BMM are held simultaneously on 2 different mats and only one (the GMM's) is covered by the TV broadcast   it's a shame that the 2 most important tournaments of the year (global championships aside) have this unfriendly setup
