That was easily the fastest 200 free relay split of all time by Titmus.

considering only Olympic Games, World and European Championships, it is (the previous best was a 1.53.low by :ITA Federica Pellegrini in the final of the 2009 Worlds in Rome (with the rubbish...ehm, rubber suits...also :USA Allison Schmitt had a similar time in the same race)...

p.s. really strange that Pellegrini did swim below the 1.53 mark in the individual race starting still and couldn't do better in an inside (last) leg of the relay (actually, she never swam faster in the relays than in the individual races in her entire career)...

I don't know the name of the BBC badminton commentator, but she sounds like she's having an out-of-body experience right now

Hall beats Petros Christodoulides :CYP by ippon just 26 seconds in 10-0 in his semifinal. He will face Katz or McKenzie in his final... could it be :ENG  vs :ENG for gold?

    • Today is a day without Italians in the leads positions. I`m worried that they are not trying to revive this our sprint. There is only one Bosa and he is old. Pergher is young but she is also only one. It is a pity. After the Olympics they will probably 100% give up on the entire sprint. Our medal bag in Cortina will depend 90% on Ghiotto, just like it did on Fabris in Turin 2006. If Ghiotto will be in goodshape, he can even win 2 individual golds + a team medal. If not, it will be a flop. Apart from him, only Lollobrigida can compete in the mass start and possibly Giovannini in the men's mass start.

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
