:ENG athletes win both semifinals... Wilby 59.85 and Peaty 59.02. No joy for Butler who comes 7th in 1:00.90 and is out.

After two rotations it's :ENG :AUS :CAN in the women's artistic team.

 

Australia cut 0.5 points into England's lead and are now behind 0.6 points. Canada leads Wales by 0.05 points.

CoA set up by TTFI on court orders  did nothing really. They chose a squad based on a old document which gives more emphasis to domestic tournaments. The top 4 don't participate in national tournaments often. Manika for example was no 33 ranked but being the top ranked internationally got the spot. So someone like Reeth Tennison was chosen. Archana was also selected with the exception that she's world no 4 in women's doubles. But it was challenged in the court which went with the stupid rules .

Big upset in the women’s sevens as :AUS take down :NZL.  No upset in the other semi as :FIJ take down :CAN.  You don’t have to be Nostradamus to work out what’s going to happen in the bronze medal match.

      It was very low to begin with though.    However, I will say this match has really shown me that they'll for sure be contenders in the future when they have more experience, and they still have 2-4 Olympics left in them
