First the TTFI was suspended for the acting only in the interest of it's officials with the national coach asking the India no 1 and defending cwg champion Manika to lose a game against his favourite athlete at Olympic qualifier .

CoA set up by TTFI on court orders  did nothing really. They chose a squad based on a old document which gives more emphasis to domestic tournaments. The top 4 don't participate in national tournaments often. Manika for example was no 33 ranked but being the top ranked internationally got the spot. So someone like Reeth Tennison was chosen. Archana was also selected with the exception that she's world no 4 in women's doubles. But it was challenged in the court which went with the stupid rules .
