Buenos Aires withdraws from the 2023 Pan Am race, leaving Santiago as the only bid. First time ever 2 west coast cities will host back to back.

Well it seems that finally Santiago will host... maybe in 2017 Central America or the Caribbean could host.

With more than four years to go, Santiago 2023 already presented their pictograms.

So I guess Roller Hockey will return to the programme? :mumble:

Each host is currently allowed to add one sport of local interest under the PanAm charter. (Toronto 2015 added women’s baseball, Lima 2019 added Basque Pelota I believe)

I didn't though Chile was good at that sport but they won silver at last year's Pan American Championship. Maybe they think they can steal a gold medal from Argentina.

A lot of problems within the organizing committee for Santiago 2023. The CEO and President have both resigned...

Very concerning indeed. Hopefully it’s resolved, but I’m beginning to think it may be in the best interest of games to choose a new host.

Very late to do that. I'd suspect though Lima would gladly host again though.

I was thinking more Cali, LA, or Buenos Aires. Lima isn’t currently in a position to host either.

    • This is a wanted behaviour so that in desktop the space is better optimized, while in mobile its shorter. Did you have something else in your mind on how to fix the issue?
    • Yes, though it is weird that on my laptop, I see the shooting logo on both sides of the word...but on my mobile, the graphic only shows to the left of the word (and can't even swipe to see). But the issue of the banner going off screen is fixed.
    • Would a page like this fix that issue? (ignore the format, just check if that issue would be solved).
    • did send one athlete to the last edition, but she was only allowed to compete as a "guest" since they don't yet have an NOC.

    • Can you send me a link to the page you mean? Thanks
    • @Sindo One note...is there a way to make the top graphic a little smaller on mobile?  When I'm on my phone, the top graphic (the one that has the graphic+sport name) only shows the left half, but if you swipe right you see the rest...but that's different than the swiping right in the table...if you swipe right on the graphic, it makes white space appear underneath where the rest of the table might be.  Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Attached are screenshots from my phone.         (In my head, the Archery logo would be just screen width, and you could swipe the tables as it currently stands.)
