They jammed most of their good sports at the start (I guess to make more hype and get the public to attend), but I still feel like they have come a bit short in terms of wins?

What do they have left? Maybe Karate, Roller Sports, Tennis?

Mostly Karate and Tennis, I don't think they're that strong in Roller Skating.

Deinifite, they lost in MTB and now beach volleyball, probably they were hoping for a full sweep in women's rowing and more medals in water skiing.

If they don't take 2 in tennis, they may strugle to get above 12 golds in total.

Tomorrow will be on the “slower” side as well. Gives me a chance to catch up on a few things I missed though (and organize TISC).

Where you can catch the On Demand?

Brazil is now what Cuba used to be in Boxing

Cuba with only 3 finals, will hurt a lot their chances for going up in the standings but Cuba could get a boost when wrestling, judo and athletics start

Mexico with 2 finals, impressive! and two olympic spots.

I know, Cuba will struggle to get past 25 even with those sports still to come

Sad, because they're athletes get better opportunities in other countries.

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
