Skate venue is nice. Honestly, there haven’t been a lot of bad venues for major events though.

 

 fans out in force for what will likely be a 1-2 for them.

 

Edit: Probably the first time I’ve seen cobblestones on a street course. Adds a local flavor though, so no big problem as long as they don’t kill run.

By the way, I believe this is only the second edition of the Pan American Games with all Olympic sports/disciplines on the program.

 has indeed pulled out of mountain biking. It must be a recent development, as the USOPC didn’t mention it among sports they weren’t entering.
