:ITA v. :TUN beach handball match really feels like two completely different matches when you look at the score line. Tunisians really rallying hard to force the penalty shootout.

NOCs that never won a medal at Mediterranean Beach Games

  • :AND Andorra, they entred only a pair in Men's beach volley. Probabily no chances to win a medal (1% medal chances)
  • :BIH Bosnia & Herzegovina, only atlethes and only in kata. Their Games are already over (0%)
  • :KOS Kosovo, medium delegation and they entry in team sports, but they're already out from the medal match. Two swimmer and beach volley pair still on the pack (1%)
  • :LBN Lebanon, some beach volley pairs, not too much hopes (1%)
  • :MLT Malta, they had only Schembri and he was deadly last in rowing Beach sprint (0%)
  • :MNE Montenegro had only a karateka, they're Games are ove (0%)
  • :MKD North Macedonia entred only a men's 3x3 team, and losted all their match (0%)

I think that we can safely say that Marocco is the only new country able to win a medal. All the others will have a chances in Portugal 2027, hoping to see biggest delegations

Beach sprint rowing is over. The final results assigned using the time trial results. For the men's 1x only quarterfinals are taken in account.

That means that Spain won all 5 golds.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
