There is just so much depth in middle distance running, and this is a really unprecedented achievement for a Canadian athlete. Josh 5,813 Posted August 26, 2023 Author #90 Share Posted August 26, 2023 So a dream World Championships for us so far, four golds and two silvers with only the men's 5000m and women's 4x400m to come. Newman and Lovett not making their respective finals (men's high jump/women's pole vault) were a bit disappointing, but both were in horrific form so it wasn't really surprising. Was hoping for Wodak to reach the OQS in the women's marathon, and for Warner to win gold in the decathlon, but both weren't able to do it. No words for our men's 4x100m disaster...
