There is a problem with this sport in Italy, since in the 50 km classic today the best is still the 36-year-old Pellegrino... Where is the rest? Why is Graz so irregular, why was de Fabienie's talent wasted? There are many such questions. And the fact that Norway and its dominance among men is destroying this sport is another matter. If Italy ends with only 5 spots, it will be terrible for us. We will have to choose between sprint and relay. Even in Beijing we had 6 skiers. -

So it's a silver medal for Overall five relays in each final with two teams clearly off the top level made these events quite hollow for lack of a better word. -
Yeah looks like she fell because of her pole that she put between her shoe and her ski, she didn't have much space in the turn so that's what caused this mistake. Man I'm so sad it ends this way (and not just because I'm French and was rooting for Lou) I wish we could've seen a sprint between them instead of such an anticlimactic ending. This is incredibly frustrating. Nevertheless, congratulations to Preuss who had so much bad luck throughout her career, she deserves this so much. Now I just hope Lou will win the overall someday, second year in a row where she's close to doing it
