I'll go with your predictions as they are realistic (some different opinion regarding the order but not major)

from yesterday results two surprises:

W 60KG -Felestars :ZAM defeated Nesrin Amine :MAR 3-2

M-71 Maina :KEN depeated Rabii :MAR by KO !!! Rabii is the bronze medalist from Rio and played profissional boxing afterwards!

remaining results are expected

I fear that the Moroccan delegation will be heavily affected by the earthquake that caused so many deaths and damages in their Country

I wouldn't even say that their losses are a big upset, given the situation they live right now

Round of 32 and 16 still ongoing for all weight categories, no surprises from yesterday contests.

today is the remaining of round of 16.

tomorrow is off and the quarter final which will be broadcasted on IOC channel (I hope) will start on Wednesday.

following up results is a nightmare, waiting each NOC to announce on their facebook page its athletes results !! ..and you can expect if he/she was defeated nothing posted :bones:

Based on Egyptian Boxing Federation facebook page: " IOC said it's unlikely to broadcast the quarter finals on Wednesday, but they  will stream the finals only"

who exactly said that or is he a reliable source? ..no idea !

the official Olympic Channel webpage has it written: from quarterfinals on, there will be TV/streaming coverage

I hope they didn't sell what isn't in their wallet :zip:

p.s. last time, they broadcasted all of the qualification tournaments in their entirety...I don't know why this time they can't do it? :mumble:

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
