 Gardiner wins H1 of the men's 400m, ahead of  Sato and  Molnar. 

 

All three will progress to the semifinals.

Well, unlike Bol (and to an extent Hassan), Vetter has a history of struggling with form and mental issues, so I wouldn't say not getting a medal is 'humiliation' here, unlike what happened yesterday. It doesn't surprise me at all. Although going out with NM always sucks.
