Men's Road Cycling UCI World Tour 2023 (Tour de France)

Massive fall in the peloton, race neutralized because there are not enough ambulances available at the moment. Pedrero and Meintjes seem to be the main victims (no 'worries', but definitely injuries).

Whole clutch of abandons subsequently

Tom Pidcock the first of the top 10 to crack, will be losing places.

Simon Yates next to struggle.

Adam Yates now leading out Pogačar & Vignegaard.

Pogačar attacks now, Vignegaard defending!  3k more climbing.

Pogačar can’t make it stick, both together again.

This is seriously such an exciting Tour  Last year it was my first time following the race closely, but I must admit I was already getting bored by the end of the second week. This year not at all :cheer:

That goddamn motorbike that stopped Pogacar's attack :facepalm: (not to mention the idiot 'fans' with their toxic smoke bombs on the climb, luckily fewer than yesterday....)

When do they learn, one may ask. At least the main part of the stage was entertaining, more or less. Tense downhill at the end, nice last 4km of the big climb :d

This team definitely has what it takes to be a top 5 team and consistently contending for medals. First time watching Kernen play, all I can say is how is she that good at only 19? • So I was watching a replay of China-Germany in between Canada’s game against Sweden and this one against Italy and… it seems like China cheated during it which could’ve been critical in them winning the match?    During the 1st end, Xu with his last rock had an easy hit for the single against three German stones. One of the sweepers for China (I can’t tell which one, this team is quite new to me) “accidentally” kicked their own stone, which redirected one of their own stones into the rings, and Germany only got the steal of 2. HIS FUCKING FOOT IS TOUCHING THE ROCK   Now after, Team Xu was claiming that the stone was picked (it was not) and Muskatewitz was arguing that it couldn’t possibly have been picked. China wouldn’t admit it, and they ended up winning the game 10-9. BOO.    Hope these cheaters don’t qualify for the Olympics.
    • Edin usually has mediocre seasons though (that being said this has been worse than usual), then really starts to show up for Worlds. He’s only won 4 GSOC events in his career.     They’re at a 4-2 record at the moment, so seems to be the case again. Plus, they played really well in their loss to Canada.
