Then NHL will sell to Salt Lake for 1.2 billion. IF the Coyotes complete their new stadium within the next 5 years they will be immediately granted a expansion franchise along with one other city. it will never happen...they couldn't build one in 20 years when the team was in town, imagine how much the Community would like to spend billions into a new arena with no more teams in the area moreover, there's absolutely no need for another expansion team...32 is more than enough, or the level of play is gonna go down to a non-return point the only thing Buttman must do is to relocate a team to Quebec City...the NHL deserves the Nordiques back! We will know much more on June 27. The state of Arizona is selling 110 acres of land just outside of the city limits of Phoenix on the 27th . Its not in any city so community issues don't exist. As of this moment the Coyotes are the only bidder. The NHL did not want to wait for the stadium build which will take a couple years. So we will see what occurs. hckošice 14,768 Posted April 17 #94 Share Posted April 17 250 000 USD goal ! Not bad before summer With his goal tonight, Juraj Slafkovsky touched an additional $250,000 for reaching the 20 goals plateau (contract bonus). I'd be all smiles too!#GoHabsGo #Habs #Canadiens pic.twitter.com/sen9BrY2n6 — JD Lagrange (@JD_Lagrange) April 17, 2024 it´s a expensive goal Juraj Slafkovsky questionné à savoir s'il allait donner une partie de son boni de 250 000 $ à Lane Hutson pour son beau jeu à la ligne bleue sur son but : « Bof, je pense qu'il va aller chercher tous ses bonus lui aussi l'an prochain. Il va être correct! » 😂 pic.twitter.com/fTbXh0jXgu — RDS (@RDSca) April 17, 2024 Josh

Rich people want to make more money, and sooner or later someone with enough money or influence will get behind the idea of supporting another Phoenix team. There's too much of a TV market in that area for them not to want to keep trying it. And it is for that reason, but at the other end, why a QC team is less likely, despite the history. It's just not a big enough market. I'm not saying it is a good thing, but if you have Atlanta, Houston and Phoenix all competing, QC has an uphill challenge to get ahead of them.
