And France ?

almost impossible...they have to hope that ITA makes it to the top 4 (which is highly unlikely) and then they also have to make up more than 20 points on EST...

by the way, with RUS in the top 4, also :ITA Italy are mathematically qualified to the Games...

I thought Egypt would stay above the top 16? which would give us a chance

even if EGY are out, I don't think you can get anything...

ITA won't make it to the top 4, therefore the European spot would go to them...meanwhile the repechage spot would finally go to USA or KOR (the 1 who would miss the top 4 between those 2)...

even EST and UKR to me don't have any chance to qualify (and in case a miracle happens and ITA end up in the top 4, EST have a 20-point margin over FRA before the last event and also UKR are more or less in the same area of FRA...so, we'll see the exact maths at the end of today's tournament, but I think it's everything already decided)...

USA or Korea won't take the the repechage spot but the continental spot...

yeah, you're right...my mistake...

this means that EST are in pole position for the repechage spot (if it's gonna be available, but I think EGY in the end would make it into the top 16, as JPN basically gave it up)...
