South Korea have not announced their roster yet, but this move from quite a few days ago, is really impressive...

http://www.wbsc.org/kia-tigers-shut-down-star-pitcher-hyeon-jong-yang-to-rest-ahead-of-wbsc-premier12/

p.s. only those crazy Koreans could do something like that...imagine the Dodgers in the MLB shutting down Bueheler and/or Kershaw for the last stint of the RS and the entire playoffs to save them for the National team...no way!

and here is also something interesting about the prize money up for grab in this tournament...

just filled the missing pieces of the puzzle on the Cuban team...

p.s. in these weeks I'm watching the NPB playoffs...and naming Despaigne an outfielder is...let's say...a "brave" definition...letting him play the outfield, it's just trying to suicide (right now, he's definitely an old school DH...he's at least 150kg...and I'm very generous with him :yikes:)
