This is one of our weaker Olympic events, I doubt that we will have 3 athlete quotas in women's canoe.

I guess the men's K4 1000m is back in some form because the semis and finals are so close to each other now that it might as well be viewed as 2 x 500m event. Especially because the semis will be as hard as the final itself. Same applies to the women's K4, which should give an advantage to the 3 boats who are resting.

There are three athletes in women's canoe who are in both the C1 and C2 final.

So there won't be much doubling-up in women's canoe. The athletes in the C1 B-final won't be able to win quotas.

Here we go, probably the most important canoe races are coming up since Tokyo, the K4 semis for the Olympic qualification.

     to the women's K4 final and they also win the quotas, just like      

 

4 spots remain.

There will be a Canada v Mexico fight for the American quota in the B final.
