Team :SVK

M Singles: Adam Hagara

W Singles: Alexandra Michaela Filcová

Mixed Ice Dance: Anna Šimová/Kirill Askenov

Any qualification for the free skate/free dance would be a major upset. very unlikely it can even happen, the goals are realistically more about equalling/beating their respective PBs and finish as higher as possible in the final standings

To be fair, there are only 23 couples in the ice dance. Free dance seems more than just feasible for Slovakia.

Entries overall are pretty thin. Post-Olympic season and no RUS/BLR.

:POL Team Poland

Ladies:

Ekaterina Kurakova

Men:

Vladimir Samoilov

Ice Dance:

Anastasia Polibina/Pavel Golovishnikov

Obviously Kurakova is our best chance for a good result, she finished 5th at the last Euros.

Meanwhile, we have Jari Kessler entered. Crossing my fingers and toes he achieves a free skate for us, after years of wait... :fingers:

Also I am excited to see :LTU Reed/Ambrulevicius. Their free dance is one of my season highlights!

Did Kurakova already returned from Lake Placid?

Yeah, she's in Espoo and had a training session earlier today already.

Tough luck for :CZE They send two guys and both are set to miss FP?

Somehow :POL Samoilov leads but ahead of some very non-figure skating powerhouses :coffee:

    • Putting Canadian curling back on the map after two disappointing Olympics in a row    Very happy for Gallant and Tardi in particular, as you may know Gallant was in mixed doubles last week and really struggled, if he made half as many shots as he missed they probably would've been in contention for a medal. Glad he was able to block that out of his head and rebound in a big way, winning his first Olympic gold. For Tardi, after being able to get a game in as an alternate, the  emotion of just being able to represent Canada, you could tell how much it meant to him. He's hilarious on his Instagram page, but also might genuinely be one of the nicest curlers ever. Hopefully he gets his chance on his own team someday, still young in curling standards.

    • Sounds like Keeley Hodkingson is not going to this. So it might be in general B list for England.
