and with Šimon Nemec (Defencer) drafted as #2, Slovakia became the only 2nd non-CAN/USA nation with first 2 picks after Russia in 2004 (when Ovechkin & Malkin were picked as first Two)

 

You may imagine, Was some a night in Slovakia. Fireworks at 01:00 AM etc...
