If they are willing to play in (and host) Japan then I imagine they will go to Paris

I say BLRUS on purpose because from POL perspective this is basically one country now

Has there been some reports that nations supporting Russia may boycott if they don't participate?

 

My thoughts on North Korea is they may miss more due to their fears from COVID.

I don’t know of any reports on BLRUS support boycott…

 

i know there are more COVID cases in Europe now than 2-3 months ago though

Similarly to the flu, COVID cases will likely increase during the winter months. By the time summer starts things will drop off again.
