Although it is played under IIHF and using the IIHF rules, the tournament is basically unofficially under the management of TSN. which is sadly the reason why the matches from WJC are not publicly available by this cable TV company, the seniors WCh matches which are completely under IIHF gesture in other hand are generally more or less accessible via Youtube (however restricted in the countries with TV rights though) 

 

However this year for the first time TSN agreed to upload highlights also on their YT account https://www.youtube.com/@TSN_Sports/videos , I was even considering to post here the Youtube highlights, but was not sure they will continue to upload them there until the end of the tourney, so I just as usually for the WJC shared here the Vimeo highlights

Sadly, i cant find matches from 2022 senior WCH on YT, like i always did, they are just absent from YT.

Yeah, That´s a shame. I don not know either why they still did not uploaded the full replays. In the past they were quite quick with that, I remember the 2019 worlds games were on Youtube already 2 weeks after the tournament

I think they have a new media manager at the IIHF and a new TV contract with more restrictions.

 

it's the Tardif effect.

 

I wonder if they will even go on having at least the live games for free on YT in the next few years?
