Tsitsipas is now 9-0 vs de Minaur, and 11-0 if you count qualifying and Challenger matches.

I remember in 2018 when Tsitsipas beat him at the Next Gen ATP Finals, some people were trying to say de Minaur would be better in the future. So far, that has definitely not been the case. I guess when you are Australian for example you will get way more hype.

Same thing happened with the Canadian Shapovalov who Tsitsipas also beat this week :p

Tsitsipas continues his impressive record against Italians, now 4-0 vs Musetti.

Unfortunately he is 0-3 against Alcaraz, but they had very close matches in the past. The last time they played was in the quarterfinals here last year. I want more than anything for Stefanos to win, especially after how the crowds always act towards him against Alcaraz (hypocritical behaviours from them at 2021 US Open and 2022 Barcelona), but I do not expect him to win. I hope to be wrong...

[1] Carlos Alcaraz :ESP is the men’s singles champion at the 2023 Barcelona Open (ATP 500), defeating [2] Stefanos Tsitsipas :GRE 6-3, 6-4.

And take a look at Alcaraz celebrating his win with the ball kids, what a cool tradition  :d
