It's all going to depend on Pogacar and how long he can keep this up. Jumbo should definitely have the red jersey in the team after today, anything else would be a major letdown from Roglic since he's just by far the best time trial rider in this field.

That profile is a bad joke from the Vuelta organization by the way, in terms of showing the climbs. There's actually two climbs that are far from easy, especially the first one has some serious stuff in it and the second one opens with a tough kilometer before getting a bit easier.

Does anyone know what the penalty is for not starting in the right jersey? Roglic has the green points jersey, which he very much didn't want (like red), because he wants to have his own, much faster one for the time trial. I wonder if he'll ignore it and just puts on his regular jersey

Cipollini was getting financial penalties so maybe there's nothing more?

Looks like not wearing a certain jersey would get you kicked out nowadays.

 

 

Well, there goes quite some time down the drain due to having to ride in some crappy jersey given by the organizers. Should have paid better attention Roglic.
