pretty disappointing quarters, yesterday...all of them with the eventual winner never in doubt, just 4 one-man show after another...:nopompom:

and now, when it really matters, we're down to the usual Egyptian domination with 3 of them against a lone European hope in both the women and the men's competitions...

congrats to Egypt...

but a bit more balance and "diversity" would only be a plus for the game...:p

so, Egypt will retain both of their titles, but we're going to have a new World Champion among the girls as among the men, since both Mohamed El Shorbagy and Raneem El Welily lost in the semifinals...

and we also have the final medal table set before the finals, with Egypt destroying the field with 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals and France and Germany sharing the remaining 2 Bronze medals...

    • In my opinion, Trump is a very difficult opponent: he has hard electorate, not voters and if he does something wrong, his electorate forgives him. Secondly, he is an experienced man with a TV past who is doing great in the campaign. He is old but his health is good and it`s hard to beat someone like that. In 2020, Biden won mainly because of Covid and Trump's terrible decisions (Biden also won not by that much then). In my opinion, if the Republicans had put up a polite and well-mannered politician like Mitt Romney, Harris would have had a much easier time winning against him. If Trump were weak, he wouldn`t be allowed to run again after his defeat in 2020.
