It seems that F1 will re-introduce points for fastest lap from the first race of the 2019 season. The fastest lap set by a driver who ends in top 10 will be awarded 1 point. 

The new extra point will probably not matter that much, but let's see.

Liberty is going all gimmicks crap again. I expect stage racing within the next 3 years to create DA EXCITEMENT just so the new rules turn out to be crap.

Actually giving a point for the fastest lap would be a nice throwback to the very first years of Formula 1  

 

People are always saying how things 'were better earlier', well, there you go. Back to an old rule.

This is from the days when only Top 5 scored points. It's unneccessary in the modern F1. The best teams will get that bonus point unless there's rain. Rich will only get richer.

What the fuck,  F1 has announced race director Charlie Whiting has died today. Apparently he was struck by a pulmonary embolism..

 

That is absolutely shocking news for the sport.

They are going to try to nascar the whole thing huh? By now I have no clue how points are scored there.  Every race have like 3 parts.  So confusing

Damn, Leclerc was easily on his way to being the first GP winner from Monaco ever, but the Ferrari engine was messed up and Hamilton got the win thrown in his hands

 

He might lose his 2nd place as well to Bottas...crappy Ferrari trash

And Verstappen is getting 3rd place as present from Leclerc as well. This is sad
