It’s the order of the rails/jumps that’s bad. The Swiss have also made the 1st jump to high (like an aerials jump). dcro 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,479 Posted January 18, 2020 Author #1123 Share Posted January 18, 2020 First athlete to knock themselves out today. That took a lot less time than I expected. Horrific crash really. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. On that jump there are two options: one that sends you to high/far, one that sends you to low/short. I have a bad feeling this won’t be the last horrific crash we see today. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 13,560 Posted January 18, 2020 #1125 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Something's pretty wrong here, I don't think Yeh had a runtime of 52.1 seconds in run two... For comparison, that is almost two seconds faster than the winner of run one I do wonder how a mistake like that happens, it's not like one can cut a corner without crashing out of the track in some insane way (which would most probably have led to cancellation of the competition). And in the last intermediate, everything still looked normal If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! I'm still watching yesterday's alpine skiing and since I noticed watching one thing instead of two makes the one thing I'm watching much more fun, I just use my laptop (I watch on my desktop) for things like forums and live timing I'll watch the luge WC later If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,560 Posted January 18, 2020 #1129 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Definitely not knock-out, nasty fall indeed though (the one of 10 minutes ago). No, she was definitely out cold after the impact. I’ve watched enough of this sport to know what that type of fall looks like. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
