Top 7 (excluding France) will qualify.

Let's say :GBR:GER:AUS:JPN:USA:SUI:NZL are the frontrunners.

But anything can happen in eventing, so :IRL:ITA:SWE have a definite chance too. Even :BEL:CAN qualifying would not be hugely surprising.

No real chance - :AUT:BRA:ESP:POL. Austria is actually fairly solid, but with just three riders their chance will be minimal.

We have any chance to qualify team by qualification event or ranking?

Yes, Poland will be the favorite for the Group C qualification event next year, but a challenge may come from the Czech Republic or even Hungary.

The Irish Team has been named. They won silver last time out but that was a bit of an outlier in terms of global results. They're usually in the 5-10 range

Not the phantom one this time. Canada has revealed that Dana Cooke & Mississippi will be stepping in to replace Colleen Loach & Vermont.

Why Japan and Switzerland ahead of Ireland?

Irish team has been underwhelming recently. It's almost worrisome that McCarthy & Fallulah got named, given Fallulah's very poor show jumping record... Saying that, Joseph Murphy has had an excellent season and should be the one to watch.

Japan has a strong team. They placed 4th in 2018 so it's a familiar territory to them. Switzerland has been improving season after season ever since they hired Andrew Nicholson to be their national coach. This is their most promising team ever, plus they got great history in Pratoni as both their Nations Cup victories ever have happened right here.

Famous last words ^ ...

Joseph Murphy & Calmaro are out following a "setback" in training. Newbie Felicity Ward will replace him. Irish team is as good as useless now, to be frank, but maybe they will surprise me.

What a pitty for Murphy. Top 10 in Kentucky and Top 5 in Aachen this year was hugely promising.
