Cheering for underwater hockey, but booing e-sports, meh. If there is one multi-sports event where e-sports should/could have a legit place, it's the Asian Games.

It's a great news for a city like Taranto, with all the problems caused by ILVA, you know. It's a bit difficult for me wrote in english for me but it's a social-economic option like alternative for a steel based economy. It's a tentative to give at the citzenship new (or almost new) place for do sport.

So as I said before it’s been a weird week for me, and I’ve found myself getting really excited for the 2019 Pacific Games. Well looking around I saw that the 2023 games had been awarded to the Solomon Islands (bad choice, especially over Tahiti in my opinion), and I’ve noticed a few funny things in their bid documents. First off the first 10-15 pages are all official messages from politicians :p; and then we get to the sports program. The Solomon Islands plan to host Football, Futsal, and Beach Soccer I’m the same games :yikes:. They also plan to have a huge sports program. I feel like this is going to kill the country (75% of citizens are subsistence farmers).

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
