Cedric Fofana & Victor Povzner won gold at the Diving Cup in Gatineau in the 3m syncho, with a score of 395.25. That would have placed them fifth in Paris. We may have found our solution in this event after Despatie's retirement.

No Cedric Fofana & Victor Povzner in the 3m springboard, rather Carson Paul & Tazman Abramowicz will pair up. Canada will have an entry in all four Olympic synchro events, for the first time in a while.


However, three biggest names arguably are not on the team, Wiens, MacKay and Zsombor-Murray
