Overall, a lot of promising performances, in particular the men's K-4 team, which essentially got 17 years younger (substituting in Laurent Laurent LAVIGNE for Mark De Jong from Tokyo). Slightly disappointing result for Connor Fitzpatrick, was expecting him to make Final A. The women's canoeing team has a good future, but needs to develop to fight for medals consistently. The men's K-2 Men 500 that finished in 10th also looked promising.

9/10 Olympic events had a finish in the A final, except the K1 1000, which is Canada's weakest event by far. 4 4th place finishes is typical Canadian lol, two of those 4 would have won medals had they repeated their performance from the SF. A lot of these boats are by young athletes, and they can only improve from here.

Actually they chave 8 points.
