Team Homan defeats Team Rui 6-5 in an extra end to advance to the gold medal match. Wasn’t watching because I can’t be bothered to pay for Curling Channel, but the game being this close is concerning.

4th for Team Gushue at the Pan Continental Curling Championships after going undefeated in round robin (shades of the Swiss women at Beijing) 

 

How pathetic given the level of opposition.

Team Homan win gold at the Pan Continental Curling Championships, defeating Team Gim 6-5 with a steal in the 10th end!

Homan/Bottcher win the 2nd Olympic Mixed Doubles Trials Qualifier. A sigh of relief. 
 

Edit: Because they’re a new partnership they likely won’t qualify through CTRS points, so to have one of the best pairings in the world qualify here is huge.

So, all Bottchers talk about being passionate and excited about coaching, and being committed for years to come, lasted almost five months of an offseason
