Can’t remember ever seeing a race reran and someone getting advanced who didn’t take part in rerun.

 

The injury was definitely in a dangerous place, but by time they whistled it dead everyone was already past that spot and on the finishing straight

What happened in the men’s 1000m final and the men’s relay final?

Apparently in the relay Canada was first the entire race but the last lap Netherlands took them out and there was no penalty , and they were awarded gold on home soil. Very convenient for them haha

Roussel fell on his own, and then everyone else fell later except the Dutch winner. Dandjinou was given a yellow card.

In the relay the reasoning was shared responsibility, but my (bias) made it look like the Netherlands should have been penalized

But it’s funny that both benefited the Netherlands on home soil

Some fun facts: With Sarault and Brunelle winning the 1500m and 500m today, Canada has won each event at least once during this world tour season. 8 different Canadians have won an individual medal and 6 of them have won an individual gold medal.

I was rewatching some highlights from Sochi, Pyeongchang and Beijing and I'm just hoping we get good consistent judging in Milano. It's three straight Olympics with terrible home bias judging. I didn't see the races in question here yet, but it's just getting annoying now.
