Mia West won bronze in the 200 yard IM at NCAA championships. Could be a name to keep an eye on this summer.

 

Also a pair of 4th places for Ella Jansen in the 500 yard freestyle and 400 yard IM.

 

 

 

Also last week, Alexanne Lepage broke the Canadian short course metre records in the 50m and 100m breaststroke at the USPORT championships.

Mary-Sophie Harvey with a new 400m IM PB of 4:34.37 at the Giant Open. Currently #3 in the world this year.

 

Also went 2:09.82 in the 200m IM. Currently #7 in the world this year.

Josh Liendo broke Caeleb Dressel's 100 yard butterfly record in the heats this morning at NCAA championships

Josh Liendo won 3 NCAA titles (50 free, 100 free, 100 fly)

 

Tristan Jankovics finished 3rd in the 400 yard IM. Lorne Wigginton was 4th.

Day 1 of the Canadian Open was today.

 

Oliver Dawson set a new PB in the 50m breaststroke going 27.46. That's just 0.01 shy of Scott Dickens Canadian record. Then in the 4x100m medley relay, he had a 59.05 split for Team Alberta .

 

Taylor Ruck won the women's 100m backstroke in 59.07. Good swim for her 3 months out from Canadian trials.

 

Also a decent swim from Ella Jansen in the 200m freestyle going 1:57.62. Just a bit off her best time.
