dcro 10,182 Posted April 3, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2016 Wow, with less than 2 months remaining in women's qualifications, Cyprus is quite comfortably in qualification position! Also Israel. But all thanks to some weird races that took place in Israel last month, Cypriot racer won two of them. Seriously, look at the results. A bunch of Maltese cyclist were in top 10! http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Massada_Arad_2016 http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Arava_Arad_2016 http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Dead_Sea_Scorpion_Pass_2016 #banbestmen
JoshMartini007 2,214 Posted April 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2016 UCI needs to regulate which events get points a bit better or at least have some events be worth more points than other.

Yes, looking at the UCI calendar, there will also be a bunch of races in Venezuela next month, so more of the same. #banbestmen
dcro 10,182 Posted May 1, 2016 #9 Share Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) Cypriot racer is still very much inside Top 100. Plus, Cyprus national championships will be held next weekend apparently, where she should earn few more points, so looks like this enterprise will be indeed successful. This is the situation in women's cycling as we enter the last month... 4 quotas - 3 quotas - 2 quotas - 1 quota - Edited May 1, 2016 by dcro #banbestmen
mrv86 2,924 Posted May 21, 2016 #10 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Results Women's Road Race from the Pan American Championships won the race; however they will most probably qualify through rankings, so might get the quota.
