Shiffrin almost took it too easy in the 2nd run. Hell, both her runs looked at 75-80%.

I hope that's not true, really. Competition is already very weak...

You can clearly see the likes of Vlhova & Worley are pushing it all the way down. Shiffrin looks very effortless and it's not like it's all down to her style tbh. I've seen her try much harder is past years in the GS.

The GS standings took another hit with Worley's mistake & Rebensburg & Brignone DNF. Outside of Vlhova nobody is even trying to do sth about Shiffrin. Even Holdener has way too many off days this season.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places.
