Valeria Straneo vince la maratona di Wurzburg (Germania) con il tempo di 2h39'50" e ottiene il minimo per RIO 2016.

 

Gli azzurri certi della partecipazione a Rio 2016 salgono così a 251 (132 uomini, 119 donne)

 

Sabato 11/6, al meeting di Ginevra (Svizzera) le ragazze della 4x100 (Ilenia Draisci, Gloria Hooper, Martina Amidei e Audrey Alloh) chiudono 43"28 (4° tempo italiano di sempre), utile per il ranking di qualificazione per Rio.

 

Venerdì10/6, vittoria per Antonella Palmisano nella 20km in 1h30'11" al International Walking Meeting di Alytus (Lituania)
